Mannnnnnnnnn! I bought a 125 gallon off of craiglist a week ago and I was only able to fit the tank, stand, lights, and partial glass top in my truck. The canopy was too big, so I would have to make a 2nd trip to go back and pick it up. The guy I bought the tank from lives quite a bit aways from me, so I hadn't had the time to go back for the canopy yet.. IN the meantime, I set the tank up and had the glass top covering the back half of the tank and the front half was open. So yesterday when I got home, my male Dovii was on the floor. I put him back in the tank and hoped for the best. His gills were still moving and it looked like he had a chance, but about an hour later I checked on him again and there was no more gill movement... He's gone! I'm pissed.. He was starting to mature and coloring up real nicely.. I guess now I'll plan to raise up one of his sons from the fry I have! MORAL OF THE STORY: COVER YOUR TANKS IF YOU WANT TO ENSURE THAT YOUR FISH WON'T JUMP OUT!!!
