ooops. kinda staggered them... oh well like i said first time! anyways bought him from pedro, have been very happy with him. sold to me as a peruvian highback. as far as temperment goes he allows no tankmates at all including plecos, not skittish at all, but doesnt charge the glass... loves to just sit and watch tv with me and stare at who is ever in the room... favorite food is squid which he swallows whole, sucks it right in. had an episode a while back with broken heaters and electricity in the water and has rebounded quite well since altho i do think it has slowed his level of being totally comfortable with me... he is also very active

wow thanks for the responses guys...keep um comin, hes in a 125 gallon and is actually a bit darker... those were took with the flash on... yeah im very happy with him... he seems to like the black sand that i added recently and loves the cover i gave him with the fancy bamboo plants... hes kinda lazy with live food as he sort of sniffs it out and acts uninterested before he takes it down...

Do yourself a favor and refrain from using carbon in the filter. Use marc weiss ketta peat along with some instant amazon also by marc weiss. Melafix is handy to have around. Treat him like king. He's exceptionally nice.

Earthworms for weight/girth.

Just looking out for a nice fish.
