Hey guys i got around to changing water and cleaning my p's aquarium out and after that he is much more chipper and active than ever

Now i was just wondering does P's like a bit of murky water? or sorta grimy?
for some reason the water is grimy/murky but Ph value is neutral and he just loves it lol.

It was hell of a fun reaction when i dumped him back into his tank, hehe he seemed suprised

I whouldn't be suprised if they like it. River water in their habitat is pretty murkey.

Most waters in the Amazon are murky... which of course Ps like very much. You can also use color extract to darken the insides of tank a lil to try and imitate their habitat.

Some people use blackwater extract to make the water darker and the p's do like it because it more resembles their habitat....IMO I dont like the way it looks however

It would make the piranhas feel more secure but why would you want to look at dirty water
