I bought the 20GB recordable one (meaning i can record anythng, even voice memos) for $225, it can hold over 5000 songs (not that i have that many) It is a little bulkier than the ipod though, still not bad though.

I don't have one, but if I was going to buy one, it would be one of those 20GB Creative players. 20GB is enough to have music during an entire holiday trip, without hearing the same song twice

All I have now is my PC and Winamp.......
winamp, it realy whips the lammas ass

I wanna get a MP3 player that uses memory cards or sticks, not CDs

What is the best?
What is the best value?
Get one with an internal hard drive, like the Creative Labs I mentioned above, or Apple iPod (those are the only ones I know of, but there are many more).

Memory stick/card etc. only have limited capacity (usually 128 or 256 megs of memory: that's two to four hours of music). The ones with a hard drive often have a capacity of 10-20 GB: that's a whole lot more space, and you can also use them to transfer large amounts of data (like movies, software etc.) from one computer to another one without having to burn that data on a CD...

For a 20 GB Creative Zen (that's the name of such a device, I pay in Holland about 450 bucks at my local retailer, but I can get them cheaper on-line.
And I guess you'll pay a lot less in the US, where they come from...
