Im moving from Montana to Minnesota and will be in the car for almost two days with my p.. is there a better way to move him besides a 5gal bucket with heater and air pump.. i have done that in the past with him but he was burned by the heater once. i felt terrible and will never use it again.. i read something on bag buddy which is a blue pill? thats an idea.. any other suggestions? ill be in a hotel room one night.. ill change some water there

well if you have a cycled 10g you could put him in that and buy and adapter to plug in a cigarette lighter so you can plug in a filter and stuff.

thats a good idea, but i dont have the money or room for even a ten gal... i wonder if i could just run my xp3 filter in the bucket haha.. just would have to find a power adapter.

like i've state in other thread....put him in a cooler...the big cooler with plenty of water in ther..about more then half way up.....get some "bag buddy" it an oxygen pill and less stress for them..you can also use air pump...

if you dont want your p to get burn, dont use the heater,....go with heat pack, or turn on your heat in the car. put some water in a different cooler, but the water have to be from his tank. so you can add some if needed.

inline heater on the xp3 if your worried about heat. but if you dont have the cash maybe heat packs are a better bet.
