I have a 10" Gold Diamond and his chin is all red and bloody...most likely because he insists on rubbing his chin against everything. I've treated with Mela-fix and aquarium salt to help him heal. It seems to be working, but now I've noticed that his upper lip is kind of "rotting". You can now see most of his upper teeth, which looks kind of cool, but I'm not sure that it's supposed to be that way. He's eating normal and there are no signs of fungus on fins or anywhere else on his body. Sorry no pics.
Thoughts???

I should add that he's the only one in the tank and my water parameters are:

80 degrees
pH 7
0 ppm nitrite, ammonia, and nitrates

75 gal tank...fully cycled
