well i decide to feed my reds and cariba a mouse..yeah
..i was so stoked.. first time....what was suppose to be a great feeding turned to disaster.toss in the mouse took a few minutes
and bam they attack it quick style.well during the chaos one of the caribas came over to bite the mouse but ended up taking a fat chunk of meat from the top, of one of my reds
..he looks like a half a moon...it was a crazy scene..the red swam away and hid behind one of the plants.after all was done i took him out and put him a separate tank...my question will that half moon that he is missing will it grow back?

he is also doing fine today in the morning i tossed in a feeder and he took it down without any problems..

sorry to hear it didn't work like you thought it would

its good to hear you have another tank to put him in during his recovery. i heard of a lot of injured p's since i had joined this site and most seem to recover verry fast with full recovery. hope yours can add to the list (good luck)

Believe me, it will grow back, nothing to worry about since Ps have a supernatural healing and i´ve heard about more dramatical wounds!

Sorry to hear that. It'll grow back eventually, but scarred, discolored, and some deformations. Remember to add salt to your hospt tank to speed up the recovery.

PACKman you gotta lem'me check out your Caribas and RBs sometime, man!!!
