That dodge is a slap in the face to Mopar fans. The ORIGINAL charger conept actually didn't look that bad, in fact I liked it.
I really hate the retro look....especially on the mustang.

As for the concepts, don't fallow them, GM will not be doing to extreme of a retro look. They are going to be more angular than the 4th gen, a coupe and not a hatch back, Also, a little inside news, the Camaro is comming back in 07. The Firebird is dead however. It will be based off the zeta platform, V8 and RWD. It will be more of a complete car this time around.
I can provide links if you want....all of this is off the top of my head because it's just common knowledge amongst the F-bod crowd.
As for kiddynamite, I could find you an IROC R/T that would smoke your car. There are plent of modern mopars out there that would.

Wrong....the LS1 was always in the Monaro. In defense to GM....Monaro is a GM product. I do like the 05 model. LS6 Z06 corvette engine, and more styling than the 04. Actually looks like a GTO.

well , lets see , i had many many as i call ... disposable cars , meaning you buy them , and drive them until they die , but you never have to change the oil or tune them up , like a phone card when the time is up , ok , throw it out. well i had many cars like that , in fact one was a dodge 2.2 turbo charger , and the other was a 1987 daytona turbo , both were 5 speeds yea they were quick cras, but come on. I am locating my time slips to post , i should have them posted in a few days. you make it like its so hard to run 10's , if you came to rhode island , let me tell you, we street race every weekend , and if your not running 11's in street trim , which i do on street tires air cleaner and mufflers) because i cant get any traction , forget it , dont even bother showing up. we bring my pickup with our slicks , and tools , and as it gets later at night , we put the slicks on , and go all out when $$$ gets involved. I have no reason to bullshit , dont forget , i dont have a shitty 2.2 under my hood. i have a 440 thats not exactly stock. Which in bone stock out of the box junk street tired would run high 13's , so its not that tough to run 10's.

as i said befor these are the only pics of my car i have on my computer , i have about a million of my daughter , then again , shes a little more important , i will find my time slips and everyhting else as soon as i get situated from my move. everything is in boxes. i dont want to make enemies . hers my pics.

First I found out as I thought NO 4 door chargers were built in 66 threw 71 after that I don't know for sure. That pic of the blue 66 was a custom job that the owner did. It was on ebay last year and he could not sell it. 2nd I have been buying selling and restoring 68-70 chargers for the last 12 years and kiddynamite there is always a faster car. Checkout this 69 hemi charger 500

ok , first of all jimbo , that 8 second car had a wheelie bar , mine is street driven , lets not compare apples and oranges , just post a video of a top fueler why dont you, you missed my point , i start my car up on pump gas and can and have many times driven out to eat , and ALWAYS drive it out on weekends for street racing.(its a 12 mile drive to get where we street race , dont think that 8 second turbo car is too street practical. next , bentho , i KNOW there is always someone faster , i have lost my share of street racers , many times , like i said , i have a 10 second car , thats not the fastest by all means where im from. but jimbo , look at my car , really not to different looking than stock. thats my point , cmon get real. and jimbo , i lost a street race to a toyota supra , it had twin turbos and was sprayin some serious juice!!! he had about 30,000 into this car , he was runnin the same times i was , but.... on the street , i get no traction , so i lose about a second on my e/t's , he hooked right up with traction , i spun like hell. so i know there are fast cars out there , my friend has a 2.2 turbo mini van runnin mid 13's!!!!
