1. Will the male mollies eat the babies?

2. Will most of the baby mollies survive in the original all molly tank?
2a. How do I feed them if so?

3. What filter should I get? I want something that will clean and help with with the nitrogen process.
3a. I also have a spare Eclipse 12. How can I baby proof that filter?

I am also breeding Mollys. Just got them a couple days ago. I have about 10 offspring so far in a Breeding Net. As of now I am feeding them with crushed fish flakes.

Anyone know how long it takes for them to reach a decent feeder size?

I'd also like to know some more about them so if anyone has some knowledge or experience with them post it please.

Out of all the livebearers, I find mollies to be the least likely to eat their young. But they still do, you need cover for the fry.

For feeders.... good luck. It is almost never worth raising live bearers as feeders unless you have a huge set up. Even then, I had mosquitofish get used up (they were in an outdoor 300 gallon) in no time with just 4 f/w barracudas.

Best to avoid live food for so many reasons anyhow.... but I digress.
