For some reason or another my altuvei Mickey likes to watch me while I sleep. He'll come over to the side of the tank closest to my bed and watch me as I pass out in exhaustion. I'll wake up during the night and there he is...just staring...stalking me...waiting till the day I fall in his tank and he can have his way at his keeper. I love my Altuvei.

Yeah, they are not that bad of fish. Mine likes to jump out of the water. Sometimes I think he is gonna jump out of the tank. I had to put a rock top of the cover to hold it down. LoL

My guy is only 4 inches right now...I can't wait to watch him grow...which will take a long time but I think he's going to be a very attractive piranha. My gf is going to be getting me a rhom as soon as I get my 180 gallon tank and get it cycled for my reds.

I had a natt that would do that when he was small. Kinda freaky reading in bed and seeing him watch me out of the corner of my eye.

i take a snooze in a lazyboy chair here and there,it is beside my 33gal. i have 3 zebra golds (cichlids) staring at me its when i wake up it's kinda funny

You might be onto something Frank. He might be trying to figure out if my intentions are simply to get him large enough to eat. I wonder if all our piranha's wonder this about us?

When my Red was solo he used to watch me while i was in bed to.I'd wake up in the middle of the night to have a smoke and flick my lighter and there he was just staring at me. Also he would swim around in circles then stop and just stare at me for a couple mins and then do it all over again this was when the light was on. I would wave my hand when i had a smoke in front of the tank while laying down on my bed and he'd come to the front of the glass and try to attack the smoke.I tried getting a vid of this but my friends cam corder broke . Maybe he didn't want me smoking or something.
