hey, just was curious what members are doing with their lights...........

For my Cichlid tanks, I dimmed my lights when I'm not home and I use no lighting for my P tanks.

i have foil under my lights works great

i use one 40w white flourecent and a 50/50 blue actinic bulb for my p's. then i just turn the blue one on at night

I have 50/50 lights and I dim them

i just have room lights, no tank lights...seems to suit the fish just fine

i put in a dim switch and keep them at 1/2 on

I have an automatic timer on mine... 12 hrs on/12 hrs off. Dimmer than regular shop lights
