I have a flouresent canapy (came with tank) with a dim, pinkish light the bulb length is 23in and the canopy is 29in Im looking for a very intense white NO bulb..can anyone recommend one for me?

I'd check out homedepot and look for a bulb marked as "cool white." A bulb somewhere in the 6,700k-10,000K color temperature range should appear to be pretty white.
