I know someone who owns a LFS in Cincinnati. He is contemplating supplying Cincinnati w/ Piranha's other than Red's. Would this be a good idea? Who would be willing to support this. He would order from our sponsers and thier would be a mark up but he would order in bulk and have a steaday suppliement? Let me know so I can lean on him.

Depends on the prices, I gotta be honest. My lfs gets serras from time to time and the more expensive ones usually sit in the tank for 1-3 months before getting sold. Not alot of people even realize they're piranhas. It's worth a shot but he's gotta be careful about what he sells, the average person won't pay 200 dollars for a rhom because he knows nothing about it, that's the main reason LFSs stick to red bellies.

Hope it works out though, it'd be realy nice to see LFSs start to carry mroe than just red bellied piranhas.

I agree w/ you about the overpriced fish. Alot of stores seem to put outrageous prices on fish that do not warrant them. I am simply just trying to create a store in Cincinnati that has the ability to supply individuals with Piranah's other than Reds. The owner has been in business for over 10 years. He has been competeing with big chains and is concerned with space but I told him a BIG tank with a good assortment of Pygo's would be great. He does not need to stock everything! It would be nice to be able to order fish wanted reguarly than wishing and waiting.
