latest fad in japan

I seen that fasion started out in Osaka, Japan back in 98. Went to a TAS car show and a bunch of Japanese chicks were actually walking around with those.
Would be great if thast fasion did come here. But they also gotta have regulations and be restricted to who/which chicks can wear 'em. Imagine your Aunt Edna in those.
