Hi All,
Can anyone tell me whats wrong when my three 3" redbellies loose their colour? It happens now and again lasting for a day or so, they're fed on bloodworm, liver, pinkies, muscles etc. Is it something to be concerned about?

I think thier colour can change depending what mood they are in,they might be pissed off :laugh:

whats the water like? are they in a "high traffic area"? , could be stress related.

they also tend to lose color at night, their bellies turning like a whiteish color.

shirmp is pretty good for color

Water ph fine, 25% cleaned per week, low traffic, bellies do turn whitish though, i'll try the shrimp, thanks for your advice

some days their color will be brighter and better than others... just like how we have good and bad days....

they lose their color at night and regain it in the morning
