Just Got A Sanchezi A Couple Days Ago

from a local breeder ..approx 4" red form and 1.5 years old (very good looking) ..he raised it on rosey feeders and turkey, I will be feeding it neither ..rather pellet stuffed shrimp ..now he def doesn't look ready to eat yet still getting comfy ..I plan on just dropping a piece of shrimp in everyday give it like 10-15 min and scoop it out if it doesn't go for it ..is this the proper way to do this or start out giving it what it's use to?

who says this hobbys dead I'm all fired up over here !!

cichlid forums still seem to get good traffic not so much w/ the P's, does look like this forum used to be hoppin though

Hello,

This Hobby is very much alive...but for me forums are not a priority as my wife and kid keep me very busy lol...
Anyways for me, i found the best way of offering food is every other day as it gives the piranha more time to settle -- as every time you scoop out the food he did not eat...that would disturb him a bit more..
