lot of reasons, he cold just be chillin there, A. water conditions. B. tank to small. C. sick. D. no current to swim in. or E. just flat out lazy :laugh:
any way what type of powerhead, how many gph is it, and how big is your tank?

he probably likes the spot and feels great chillin' there. my rhom and elong have their little chill spots they like to roost in. it's probably a blend of he feels safe and can see what's going on outside the tank. maybe he just feels content in that spot. either that or he does all his moving and shaking at night when the lights go out like other p's.

the powerhead is a great addition to any p tank, not necessarily to solve that problem though. i guess you could stick the powerhead in his spot so he has to move. that's kinda going to kill his buzz IMO though.
