there is none, we have wasted our time, money, recourses, and military lives, and the iraqi people can't even begin to know the word patriotism. this is why these people will never be able to stand on there own two feet. if it were my country and i were just set free i would police and serve my country for free, untill some kind of economic balance has been developed. its depressing that our soldiers have been "supposedly" sent to free these people and in return they spit in the face of every soldier that gave his life for them by reacting like this.

Patriots or not, they still have to eat, feed their families and pay bills. They've not been paid for several months, how much longer do you expect to work without money? Iraqi policemen and soldiers are targeted everyday and many of them were killed.

Every time I watch the news and see these people dancing in the streets when they blow up one of our military vehicles it makes me think ,WTF! are we doing there.

I would hate to have a son over there, I feel sorry for some families.

granted, but dont you think flooding the streets like that and rebeling to thier own "brand new goverment" is not sending the wrong message to the terrorist's or giving them incentive? your gonna tell me that the iraqi police are not given food and housing for thier families? they need some disapline, motivation, pride, and fortitude, especially as representatives of thier country.

p.s i mean cmon they were just freed from a tyranical ruler, it seems maybe saddam wasn't as hard on them as we were led to believe, either that or they just don't give a sh*t

If I'm being targeted by the Iraqi insurgence daily and not getting paid for several months, I would not be very happy either. How'd you feel if you're in their situation?

what i dont understand is for a country that was just freed from a tyranical ruler, you would think it wouldn't take much to be a patriot, to me these people are acting like unappreciative inconciderate little ..... its a smack in the face actually down right disgusting to pull a stunt like that, next it will probably be thier own flag.

That's because the U.S. promised them a better life after Saddam and turned out to be the opposite. Now they're not getting paid and risking their lives daily.

niether did our forefathers, common sence would tell them a better life will not come over night nor will it be handed to them but it would be up to them as a people to work for it as a country. i think we're making it a little too easy at our own expence and it is time to take the training wheels off.

Iraq has patriots, theres many Iraqis fighting along side U.S. forces. There is a difference between average Iraqis that just want to stay alive, and Iraqis that would bitch if their hair follicles produced gold thread.

There's a difference. It has been 11/2 yrs since we took over Iraq. Their forefathers did not liberate them, the "great liberator U.S." did (many of them see us as "conquerors). They believed what we told them and simply put, we didn't come through. Now Iraq is a mess with 70 bombings a day.

the problem is there is not enough of them and we might as well make them the 53rd state

Its common belief that many nations turn out to hate their liberators, I'm not sure if its embarrassment, or some idea they can never pay back the debt of liberation. Of course some hatred must come for family and friends that got killed by the liberation, that's just sad facts of any war.
