depends how long you are talking and the size of the fish. A juvenile would be fine for a long time. A Rhom is not suitable for life. They do grow very slowly though.

You could definitely get him to survive, bio load wise, in a tank of that volume. Just have to decide if he will be comfortable, by size of tank. He will need a bit of swimming room, hex tanks can have height more than anything else. Picture in your head a 6" say fish in there and see waht you think. It will be probably around the 12 month mark before he was a 7" rhom

I'd agree, with emphasis on small. Its up to you though but comfortably only a small P in there, Rhom or not. A hexagon tank like that is more suited to a community of smaller fish, neon/cardinal type fish. P's don't often make use of all the height but they like enough space to turn and swim lengths.
