I was wonderin how ofter should I check parameters? I only check them once or twice a month. Should I do them more often?

not unless you change something or its a new tank setup. I check mine only about once a month or less, because I already know what it will say, it dosent change very much if you do the same water changes and feed the fish the same amount every time.

Nitro is correct. Even though, I check mine twice a month to be safe.

in a well established tank they really dont need much monitoring, 2 times a month is good, however if you have changed something recently, anything at all they should be monitored weekly

I use to check them during every water change and you should do that for the first while of a new tank anyways till its under control and then I would say after ever few water changes or so would be safe unless you feel reason to otherwise.
... although if you are dealing with more sensitive fish tehn I would check more often

I also check mine bout twice a month, just to be safe and it doesn't take more than a few minutes anyway. Why not.
