I was wondering how fast common plecos grew because I bought two tiny as f*ck ones but their a tad bit to small for the tank I want to put them in.

really slow but my freind had a tank with so much algea you couldnt see in it and it grew liek an inch in one day

if you feed them well and do regular water changes they may grow very fast. I think most ppls' plecos grow slow because they aren't fed enough

they grow fast up to 6 inches then they stop very fastly

I bought two 3 inchers last year, both are over 6 inches now, and they grew in a hurry.

They eat off the surface now if they are hungry enough.

Waste of cichlid pellets, but it's not like I can make them stop.

i just got a 12 inch pleco last september
and its grown an inch since then mainly cuz i feed it so much cuz i got to put a to of food in for everyone
