I've sat waiting and waiting to get a good still shot . It's not too easy . I don't have a vid cam but thats got to be easier. Just keep in ind though , there's one fish in the tank going after it's food. There is no where near the action of a bunch of reds repeatedly smacking their dinner. My Rhom when he goes for it , usually does it pretty quickly and when he want's and it's over in couple seconds. I dropped some beef heart in the tank last week for the first time thinking it would take a bite from it only to see him gulp a piece half the size of my thumb WHOLE. Total time from dropping heart in? less than 5 seconds....RhomZilla said:So many reasons!!! They're shy most of the time, it takes forever for them to eat in front of you, and you'll need hella patience!!
Took me a damn near hr to catch mines finally attacking a feeder..then when I looked at the pix on the digi cam, it was his back turned!!!![]()
