To answer the rest of your question... no that tank is not big enough for 5 red bellies. Ideally, you want 20gallons per fish... this is not mandatory, but is what is recommended. In theory, you should loose any fish if you are taking good care of them etc... I had a group of 12 and didnt loose a single one up until I sold them. I would recommend finding a 75g tank for them and that would be suitable, not ideal, but it would do the job as long as you had good filtration and a good water change schedule. Ideal, with 6 you will want a 120g tank, though even a 100g would work I think. Good luck and welcome to the forums!
