I think 4 litres is 1 canadian gallon and 3.8 litres is 1 american gallon.

im up in Canada and the measurements of the tank I want are 72" x 18" x 20" and it's 108 gallons. Is that 108 US gallons?
is that good for 5 P's?

I think thats canadian cause my friend has a 60"x20"x18" custom glass tank, and Im pretty sure that is 108 US gallons. Yours is a foot longer so it would be more. And yes that would be fine for 5 p's

Us canadians dont use gallons in our system, we use Litres

and here is the procedure for measuring the volume of your tank from inches to US gallons:

Tank size in US gallons
L*W*H/231(in inches)

so your tank if those measurements are exact is 112G

snow you and your damn 112g mine is 60x18x24=108 hagen sells the same dimentions as a 108g at my lfs.
