i seen my piranha gulp a whole goldfish today, i was just wondering since he just swallowed the goldfish without biting it at all what happens to the goldfish? does it live inside the piranha for alittle and then die or do piranha's have some kind of instant kill thing for swallowed fish?
does anyone know or is this just a dump question?
sorry if it is, im kinda new to this hobby but i dont think i will ever stop keeping piranha's im addicted to them

well i dont feel THAT bad, only sometimes if it looks like the fish is suffering. i dont feel bad enough to regret buying piranha's in the first place.

i dout that he swallowed it without biting it, it dosent take much for those teeth to cut, probably just beeing sucked in did significant damage to the gold fish.

I have seen my larger p's swallow a goldfish whole and then spit it out in orer to chop it up, but only lose the goldfish to another piranha.
