I just received my fish today via mail and he has a slight case of fin rot. I'm currently at work, but just added him to my tank as of 12:30 this afternoon. I have mel-fix and salt, and I'm wondering if it'd be too early to dose my tank when I get home from work (assuming he's still alive). I just don't want to treat him too early if it'll stress him out more than he already is. Not to mention I bought that stuff, but never have had to use it before. Thanks - Mike

He's still alive and settled into his cave, but i can't really tell. I only have my moonlights running and have yet to turn on my vho's. He seems to be doing ok though. I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow/sunday to try and feed him.
