why is my fish losing it's red belly? and the other ones are not.

When did you take this pic? My RB's lose their color at different points during the night and it comes back during the morning. Has he been losing it over time constantly?

My caribes lose their color while they sleep... It comes back during the day... When do yours lose their color?

OK I thought it was just the one but now that i look at them they do lose some color at night.

a thing to bare in mind is that Reds will change colour for many different reasons...

Stress will make them change colour. Also when they mature they get darker and the red is less pronounced. If they are close to bredding the colour change is very drastic. They will turn very dark (black)

sometimes they get really blackish around there fins...

that's standard early morning dullness, or they've been in the shadows or dark for a long-ass time. my pygos all do that. in the morning and late at night in particular.

it's not stress if so from what...they have a few places to hide i give some stress drops sometimes what els can I do.
