How many 25 lb. bags of gravel does it take to setup a 100 gallon tank?

It really depends on waht you want to do and waht type of setup you want.
Calculate your surface area then calculate somewheres around how much you will need to fill about 4" high or so.

A good rule of thumb is a pound of gravel per gallon of water. So 4 bags of 25 pound gravel.

id go with the black, i like black for fish tank, however real rock colour is also a good idea to make it look like "home"

yes i have black in my 125 its nice and makes it e-z to see the pieces of un eaton food and as for it looking like "home" hard to do when they are bumping in to glass.
