heya guys ... and thanks for the warm welcoming .... all that have PM'd me have been very helpful and your information is greatly appreciated ...

i just got 10 reds ... and i let the bag sit in the water for 20 minutes and released them .... since releasing them .. it's been about 1-2 hours since i released them into my tank....

they are chillin on the bottom of the tank and are rather shy or scared ... i tried feeding them worms but they are on the bottom and dont see the worms that fall or stay on the top ...

is this normal? why are they like this? are they still in shock? or shy? heheh can you tell i'm a total newbie =) hehe thanks all

Don't expect them to feed right away. A little acclimation time may be needed.

congrats on your new purchase and as stated they will need time to get used to your tank.
you did the right thing by trying to feed them but a lot of the time it can take days before they eat.
