i recently purchased a gold piranha about 4-5" in length and have it in its own 20 gallon tank. will it survive for a few months until i recieve a 55 gallon?

id recomend geting a bigger one FAST.
poor lil fish must be like so bounched up.

I guess it would be ok, 1 fish per 20 gals, but i meen, they love room to swim. Not much room there to swim.

well yea, im saving up for a 55, i just need him to hang in there for a month or two at the longest, i was just hoping that hed survive till then

He wont die. Dont worry, a 3-4 inch gold should be fine in the 20 for a little bit. Move up to a 30-55g at your convenience.

I agree, its nothing to panic about, it will be fine for a while, but it will want a bigger tank when it is bigger,

gold piranha = gold spilo?

well i guess i am weird, id feel bad about putting my fish in such a small home. but then again, i feel cramped living in my 3600 sq foot house. so .. go figure.

He will be fine in there for awhile, although he would be alot more active in a bigger tank most likely.
