This is a letter that showed up on our campus email system... bare in mind we are in South Carolina.

hey whats up guys i know you all hate these 'bum a ride' emails, however, i
need a ride desperately. If you are headed to or going anywhere around
Anchorage, Alaska i would really appreciate the ride. In return you may have
me joining you for the trip. Also, it would better to go with someone who
has a truck or van where i could lay down and nap during the trip. That way
we dont have to stop at hotels or anything.
