I took a trip to the local Petsmart to price some 55g tanks for my Rhom. The TopFin tanks are price fairly low which is good, but the glass feels like it would break if a large rhom, would slam into it. He is only 2" now mind you, but I plan on keeping him in there for a while. Is the glass breaking a possibility, or am I an idiot?

I always have this fear for my glass tank too. My Ps would attack the glass in groups, especially when there are people around or just sometimes when the lights are off. But in 2 years, they have not broken the tank yet. When I do it again, I would go for acrylic just so I won't hear that damn banging sound.

He wont break the glass, and he will be good in that size tank for probably 10 years.
Jeffs right!!
There way too many cons with glass tanks in my opinion, than acrylic (plexi).
