i was at the garden centre today and had a look at the red bellies, you should have seen the state of them one of them has no tail or fins at all he cant even swin just hides in the bottom corner bobbin around and the other four in the tank all huddle round the filter they didnt budge once they certainly didnt look healthy.

didnt notice if the eyes were missing but they defo werent looking to healty i reckon there be dead before long how long does it take for fins to grow back

I have a jack dempsey that had the entire fin and a lot of flesh from its tail bitten off. It grew back in no time. just keep the water warm and feed it well and it will completely recover in time

probably take 2 weeks or so for his tail and fins to totaly recocover... i wouldnt put im in a tank with other p's if you got him till he was back to health... the other ps will pickup on his weakness and kill him....
