Picked up a fluval 303 plus from friend.
threw it in 135 for some extra kindness to the fish.
Anyways it has an air hose u can stick in hole of jet to draw in air.
Has anyone ever had a prob w/ that hose not draw in air but let water pour to floor? syphoning
just got home from work and tank is bout 3 inches less.
Im praying that is the prob.

Never used that air adapter before.. too noise at night. But honestly, your 303 is way to little GPH for your tank. Unless this is a combo with another filteration, your 303 wont do alot.

Makes sense, I had it happen to a powerhead. Water got diverted to the air tube. And came home to water on the floor. Now i make sure the air tube is is over the tank so if it does happen again. The water will go back into the tank.

Yep fellas, it was the filter.
filter was just to cloged to draw water.
had no prob letting it out though.

That filter was just an add on to take out debris.
I got my ehiems and fluvals flowin strong
