I'm guessing these are more of the hoax going around (real animals, they just weren't from the tsunami)

But there are some freshwater fishes that resemble some of them critters you can keep in large enough aquario. Makes me think of Hydrolycus or Rhaphiodon.

I have also heard of some of the pics being a hoax. Cool critters nonetheless.

those fish arent a hoax seen 2 of them on the dicovery channel, they were just discoverd not to long ago
