whats the name of the sand that home depot sells that i can use in my tanks.
i heard it works well and its cheap. thanks, karl

you just need to make sure its fish safe.

im not sure the specific brand though.

and make sure u clean it thouroughly before adding it to ur tank or it will be cloudy forever,

Use Stone Mason Decor Sand. Great stuff. 'round $6 for a 50lb bag.
Clean it forever, you won't have any regrets later on then.

You will definitely need to raise the sand for some time to get all of the sand dust, etc. off. If you don't the sand will cloud the water.
