i'm running off to lunch in like 2.5 seconds but i'd just thought i'd drop y'all a note to say i've moved in and tonight around.... oh.... sometime between 6 and 8 i'm opening the chat for a late-nighter

my room is FRIGGEN HUGE! ooooohmygod. its like 18x16 and they DID leave both beds (i have a 'single' meaning no roomie) so now i've got a cali king cuz i pushed them together. two desks, two dressers, and two closets also! just gonna bring the 1 fish tank sometime next week. then i'm all set for the semester.

speaking of the semester, taking 15 credits thus far, but one is gonna kill me i think. AP english writing... FIFTEEN novels i had to buy for this class. groan.

pac - actually... the picture happens to be a dartboard. i guess its kinda hard to see the red dart that's lodged in his eyebrow.

dwarf - nah, just a fridge with a microwave stuck on top. i had a 'microfridge' when i was at IUP though...something about electricity saving. when the microwave was on the fridge was off.

I don't understand the whole concept of why girls have to redecorate EVERYTHING they live in. You should've seen my room in the barracks, it still looks the same the day it got issued to me, but the female Marines room that I've been all looks decorated and orderly...

...just answer me that question, why redecorate and add frilly pink and purple to it?

um.... i didn't add frilly pink and purple.... well the curtain is purple but i had that from my old room back home.

b_ack: i have some throw rugs, and i keep the slippers right by the bed. lol. whats killing me is how COLD it is in the air. went to get a shower this morning and yelped at how freezing the bathrooms are.

I personally can't live in a space that's not personalized to me. My room back in Germany is full of sh*t on the walls now. Posters, post cards, pictures, random cards with words on them to help me learn languages (German, French, Spanish).

Can't wait to fly back on Wednesday.

Tink - Nice room. And awesome that you lucked out with the room designed for two. That's pretty sweet. What type of fish tank are you moving in there?
