Planning on getting a 55 - 65 gal soon. I have a Bio Wheel on my 20 Gal now. Anyone know how well they work on the larger tanks? Or how many I would need?

1 emperor 400 if u siphon your tank every week... personally id go with aquaclear 500 tho cuz its cheaper

Bio wheels are ok. But for mechanical filtration it's fair. Ac 500 are very good. But the biolodgical lacks. Either go with a bio wheel and a powerhead with a filter attatchment. Or go with a ac 500 with a undergravel filter. Don't listen to the ugf haters. Just do a search on them.
