i was wonderin if it would be ok to shut off my ac500 at night and just leave my ac200 at night i would only use the ac500 during the day. the ac500 is to loud at night for me to sleep so i was wonderin if this would be ok or would the filter fillings dry out and the bacteria not stay in them thanx. :smile:

Hi.. What I would try is to keep your water to the very top at all times... that way you should beable to cut your water noise alot! Try that once... its best to leave the ac500 on all the time. Depending on your tank size only having the ac200 on doesn't really cut it. Try that once

True dat. The higher your water level, the less distance for water to make noise when exiting from your filter.
