My favorite is tilapia also... it's solid, firm and stays together in the tank, even while being ripped apart.

Catfish is the same way, stays together in the water, but it contains Thiamese... but one of the most experienced piranha keepers I know of, who grows the biggest piranhas I've ever seen, feeds his pygos almost nothing BUT catfish... so go figure.

Yeah, squid is excellent!

If you make the mistake of not removing the ink sack before putting them in the tank however... it will be only once that you make that mistake!

I feed my fish nothing but pollock fillets as their source of whitefish. It's very cheap at my local grocery store, it keeps its form in the water (at least in my experiences), and the fish like it.
