if you want FOWLR (Fish Only With Live Rock) you can use wet/dry and if your lazy to do water change weekly you need a really good skimmer. If you want HOB i suggest get a Remora protein skimmer and for cycling a tank sometime it take 3 to 6 weeks or longer but mine only took almost 4 weeks.
