What should I feed my 1" red bellied piranha? And when would you say that it could eat feeders? (It alreay ate the tail off my other 1 incher)

blood worms work out pretty well so would some nicely cut shrimp or some other fish

and if hed take em pellets could work

How many do you have?

You could try brine shrimp as a starter. If you have a lot of 1 inchers they could take down small pieces of shrimp.

My 1" ers always ate the frozen food! VAry the diet now so u wont be stuck on one food later! Keep away from feeders! I used the little frozen cubes of prawn and krill and stuff if its to big put the food in the net and

! They can handle big foods when small. You will be surprised! good luck

You should try to keep 3 or more so the agression divides between them. I fed mine shrimp at the beginning and then I got them used to pellets.

I started feeding mine beef heart. and then I moved to feeders but then found out feeders were no good so I switch it to shrimp.

mien came from the pet store eating flakes...

....on the upside i had to temp house him with some chichlids who he propmtly killed. I thought he could last a few hours guess i was wrong...But flakes makes good coloration is P's

yea he seems to likie flakes (just tried)... I guess maybe thats what he got at the pet store

anything small enough to fit in there mouths is great if you can get them to eat a color enhancing pellet it's even better
