so i have been wating for a while for one of my lfs to get a fakaha in so when i called them to daythey said some puffers came in under the name 2 spot, but looked more like fakaha's. My question is are the two similar in apperance, and if so is there any easy way to tell them apart.

Can you get a pic of the "2 spot"? That name is not familiar.

Two spot puffers are generally reffering to "figure 8" puffers if I remember correctly. They don't look alike at all, the fahaka will be striped, the figure 8 will have two spots on top of it.

aggreed, any way i found some good photos of the fahaka online, i printed them off so i can go down there today and compare.
