does anyone know about externals ive just got a spray bar for my fluval 404 does anyone know what to do with it i have 1 tube (plastic) with holes both ends but only 1 outlet from my filter their is also a rubber pipe ov which is open both ends

ive just bought spray bar for my external but the bar itself is open at both ends so if i plug 1 end onto my outlet pipe wont it just piss out the other end and not out of all the little holes,should one end be blocked off??????????

Hi

Yes, your filter should have one inlet pipe and tube, via the strainer. The other outlet tube connects to the spraybar. If you look at the spraybar it may have a groove at one end, running around the tube, attach this end to your tubing ( it creates a seal ). And yes you need to block the other end of the spraybar with a plug which should have been provided in your kit, this forces the water out of the spraybar, outherwise, yes it will p*** out the other end. Hope this helps.
