I think that people should post pics of ill fish.
(I know it is a bit grim)
once the illness has been diagnosed the pics should be put in their own forum, with a label of which desiese it is.
after a while it could provide an invaluable catalog of illnesses, for quick identification = quick treatment.

Also you could put how to treat these illnesses with the pics & info on good medicines people have used and which worked.

I like it. I would save a lot of guess work when people have sick fish and dont have a camera to post a pic for diagnosis.

I agree i'm a novice at this and im sure i will come across many sick little fishy's hopefully not but i could use all the help with fast acting techniques and identifications.great idea!

Yes, this would work good.

We'd have pics of certain p's with hith,ick,gill curl.. other diseases common in the aquarium.

not just commen desieses, but any that we can find pics of.

also descriptions of symptems, and also differant pics of the same desieses pointing out that it doesn't always look the same.
e.g.white spot (ich) doesn't always show spots, but is assosiated with filcking and rubbing.

Great idea Innes, hydroshutter, why dont you post something on piranha discussion about people submitting pics to you, as you get them we will post them on the site.

unfortinitly we have to find people with sick fish and have them take pictures. hopefully mine never get sick, but if they do, ill take pics.
