From the driftwood DIY article:

After the second soaking is done use aquarium dechlorinator in double the dose of the instructions and allow to soak for another 2 hours.

Please recommend a dechlorinator, and approx. how much I should order to soak 2 large pieces of driftwood. Thanks!>!>!

Order sodium thiosulfate from www.aquaticeco.com. It comes in a crystalline form and all you need to do is dissolve it in a gallon of distilled water. You now have a basic dechlorinator that will last a LONG time. If you don't want to mail order, go to a koi specialty place and ask for it.
