One of the boxes that hang on the outside of my tank (the ones the overflows siphon into) is leaking from the bulkhead, where the tube joins to the box. So I made both overflow boxes siphon into a single hang-on box. It seems to be working fine, but I wonder if this is ok.
Does anyone have any recommendations, or do any of you have wet/dries with just one input tube? I'm a little worried about something going wrong, like the intake getting clogged. Then I'd have a flood. thanks

One input tube is fine just means less turnover in your tank. My wet/dry only usues one input tube.

Also as far as repairing the leaking one. Why dont you try and line the joint area with aquarium safe silicone and allow it to fully cure. That should stop the leakage.

the washer on the bulkhead on the inside of the tube is old and cracked. I'm having a hell of a time getting the bulkhead unscrewed. the washer is off center. thanks for the advice though

you can go to homedepot and get new washer and bulkheads there
