I just started messing around with creatine but not seriously yet. I'd like to know a little more about it before I buy more and start loading....anyone here on the Fury have experience with it?

creatine worked for me. I would definitely recommend it. And yes, creatine does occur naturally in your body.

Yes it occurs naturally, but not to the extremes that you inject into your system using the product.

Everything in moderation, however.

And you have proof that large amounts of creatine in your system is actually good for you in the long run? I don't think so.

I thought that was pretty obvious.

if you take the time to read all of my posts, you would realize I never made that claim.

for the record... i spent the past 6 years of my life bodybuilding and have tried just about every supplement on the market save for illegal substances such as steroids (although i will admit to trying precurson supplements like andro). when i was fresh into liftin i used creatine for a few months and know many people in track and football that use creatine. unlike steroids which affect the liver negatively, creatine in large doses hits the kidneys pretty hard. the best advice for this problem is, as was mentioned before, drink a lot of water. you will piss like crazy but you want to make sure you have as much as your body wants to supply your cells with water. the affect of creatine (which does occur naturally in much smaller doses) is to hydrate your cells past normal levels. this is what gives you the boost many people are looking for when using these type of supplements - your muscle cells especially fill with water and make you look bigger. it also has another positive affect of keeping the cells extra hydrated which allows for faster recovery and longer use during excercise as long as you drink enough to keep up with it, which is why many sports players use it. personally, i dont recommend it. the affects of it are only temporary. while you use it you probably will see some gains but once you stop using it, all the water you have retained will be lost almost immediately. it can be hard on your kidneys and in the long run isnt really worth it. use during heavy excercise periods is worhwhile, but as a miracle supplement it will only let you down in the long run. just my advice!

Actually, you did there big guy.

First off:

creatine worked for me. I would definitely recommend it.
You state that you have used it and recommend it.

And THEN:

Why would one take it if it didnt increase the level in your system??
You go ahead and note that it increases the level in your system.

From that, we can gather that you took creatine, liked it enough to recommend it, and have some bearing on it's function. Why would you use it if it's bad for you?

Playing wording games with me really isn't going to work.

I tried it before and I know that it makes me feel sick. It never really sat well with me. Furthermore, the second you stop taking it the effects are gone.

I dont see any words of him saying its good for you in the long run, becasue nobody knows yet. And nobody knows if viagra, lipitor or paxil are good for you in the long run either.

No, because muscle he gains from it he could gain whether or not he was taking it. But thats not really going to be noticable when he loses almost all the weight he gained, and the physical size he gained, because its all water retention.

i have been training people 4 12 years yes u do gain water while on it but u dont gain muscle from the product that comes from ur work out its only good to help u get past that peak piont r 4 people that have a hard time getting statred. ur recovery time is really fast and in most people dont get hardly any sorness.
i would say only use it to get u started in to ur work just keep in mind that u will have and incress in strength why on it because of the water retintion. and also with the new water in take if u way 175 lbs u r to drink 11 glass a day wich comes out to about 1 glass 4 every 16 lbs.
so if u use it u need to almost double it . and try not to take a lot of caffine it can cancel it out.
