I just got my new 6" Rhom off Pedro and noticed he had something like a cotton like fungus describe in the other posts. How would you guys go about treating this? With Salt? What kind of salt to you use, regular salt or aquarium salt? It don't seem like its bothering him that much, but I want to get this treated ASAP before it really harms the fish.

Also, if I do add salt, do you think it will harm my pleco?

Looks like an amonia burn from shipping. Just add salt at 1 tbl spoon per 5 gallons and keep the water clean with frequent small water changes. The salt shouldnt harm the pleco.

As GG advise your fish will be ok with frequent changes and some salt but just in case i advise to add some Pimafix also....
