I know there is alot of car guys here so I want to see if everyone is as dissappointed as I am. For years I have been saying that Dodge should bring back the Charger. So, when I heard the Hemi was back I was thrilled. But, to my amazement, they decided to put it in a luxury car and a truck. However, this year they are reintroducing the Charger with a 6er, the hemi or the new super-hemi. Thats just fine, but the problem is in the car's body. How are you gonna bring back a muscle legend, The General Lee homself, and make it a four door peice of garbage with the front end of their pickup truck. It's a nice looking car, but a far cry from anything that resembles muscle. As far as I'm concerned muscle cars are supposed to look sacry, with two doors, a mean looking grill and an attitude problem. This car is nice, but it looks like it's ready to take the Grizwalds on their next vacation instead of eatin' street.. What are your thoughts?

I am dissapointed!!

I race imports now... (don't be hating) but have always loved MOPAR. I have owned Chargers and Darts in the past.

They reall dropped the ball here as far as styling goes. It should have 2 doors, and be a bit more "sleak" IMO. The other major contention is that they don't offer it with a manual transmission!! WTF!!!!! If it at least had a 5spd (6spd would be nice too) I might look past the "Family sedan" look of the resurected "CLASSIC MUSCLE CAR"

I suspet the Germans had something to do with the ugliness... J/K I'm sure it was a combination of retards!!!

Overall it is not an ugly car, just NOT a charger!!!

If it was the new intrepid, I'd say cool, but the charger needs 2 doors, and AGGRESIVE style!!!!

While I feel that the new mustang nicely captures the old muscle car look with the modern twist; this looks almost the same as the magnum. This doesn't look like a muscle car to me at all; which is really what's disapointing. They just shouldn't have named it a charger... That's all...

the new stang is actaully a pretty crap car, it has a live rear axle, the interior is all cheap and plasticy, it cant handle properly,

but most people buying a mustang dont care about that, just listen to the engine!, that makes up for it a bit

a new charger just wont be the same, they can never recreate a car like that, they should of left it alone

I agree with bkelley02. The 99 concept kicks some ass. If you are not going to make it old style then redo it and make it sleek and smooth.
What dodge has come up with is horrible POS...sadly this reminds me of the new Pontiac GTO that looks more like a grand am then anything resembling a GTO.
